I did not know much about eating disorders before starting to work for the Something for Kelly Foundation. However, I do know intimately how it feels to obsess over my weight, not like the way that I look, and believe in the inaccurate but persistent idea that I will be happier if I were thinner. Unfortunately, this is a reality that many women know well, and I have yet to meet one who does not feel defined in some way by their appearance.
